SEADAWG'S CHINESE INSPECTION SQUAD II

LudowiciMudslinger if your Bobcat is anything like the pair of Mini 90's I just got, your daughter should not have to actually set the brake lock mechanism. If you just pull the brake lever in a little bit, enough to open the switch built into the brake, you should be able to use the start button. On my Mini 90's the brake is on the left side and so is the start button so I found my kids using their left hand to pull in the brake and reaching across with their right hand to hit the start button. Probable not a bad thing because that means they don't accidentally have the throttle pressed wide open while starting. You should still follow up and get the remote start/stop fixed, it's a really nice safety option, even if your daughter does not need it, she might have a friend or younger relitive that you might want to teach to ride and the remote stop is a great feature for a new rider.

Ah, the dreaded Chinese quad. Now they have them in pink camo?!?!?
Anyone is better off with a used Japanese machine. I just picked up an '03 Honda TRX 90 in excellent condition for $1000 (Ebay 2nd chance offer). I will be able to sell that quad in a couple years for what I paid for it. Plus it will still work like a charm.
Buying used isn't quite as glamorous until you and your kid are riding while other guy is wrenching on his kids' POS. Heck my quad is a beat '96 Blaster that starts on the second kick even stone cold.

I went to the Toronto Boat Show today, and met a guy who sells both Suzuki and Eton, and has many years of experience. He says the Japanese mini quads are hard to get parts for, but he REALLY likes Eton, and the distributor here in Canada (out West in British Columbia).
He also sold Kymco for a while, but was not impressed with the distributor.
Anyway, I pick up our new Eton 90R tomorrow, so big excitement for the kid.
