I took the fuel **** apart and cleaned out...I now have gas flowing through the tube
into the top of the carb...seems ok...I also have a tube from the bottom of the carb
that goes nowhere and seems to drain gas when I have the fuel **** open...is this
normal or is this suppose to be connected somewhere...in any
event I still can't get it started...any idea where the choke is on these?

The tube on the bottom of the carb (bowl) is for draining the bowl. There should be a screw right next to it on the bottom of the bowl for shutting off the flow.

Alot of 150s have the so-called electric choke. If you have some wires going to an apparatus on the left side (as you sit on it) of the carb, then you have this. I dont think it's really a choke at all but something that lets more gas in during idle mode until heat causes it to shut off the flow. I believe it only functions when you are not operating the throttle. (not a very good explanation but you can find more on it with the search function)
