Hello there,

My name is Giovanni Chan and i am glad you are interested on my
ATV .Well,i have to let you know the atv is in a
perfect condition.The atv will be
shipped from Milano/Italy,from here I will pay the shipping taxes, insurance
and handling via FedEX Air Service and you will receive the atv
within 4 days tops.
The price I hope to obtain is 2800 USD and if you agree with this
price we can start to complete the transaction. The payment must be done
using a bank deposit or money order.I prefer money order because in this
way i will ship the atv in the same day you make the
payment. The inspection period for it is 30 days.
If you agree with these terms, let me know and i will be more than glad
to start to complete the transaction with you.

I am waiting your email,

Regards,
Giovanni Chan

Hi Russ,

Yes, my quad is almost new!! I take care of it like my own babe.
Look, all you have to do now is to go to the nearest Western Union
office with CASH and wire the money to me.
This is my name and adress for the wire transfer at Western Union:
Giovanni Chan
adress:Via Liberta 155
zip:20142
City:Milano
Country:Italy .
Look, when you'll go to Western Union to wire the money to me,if they
will ask you who you'll send the money, tell them that to a friend, because
the fees for the bussiness transfer are higher.Don't
forget to email me your name and adress for the ship.

I'll be on-line to receive your email.

Yeah, these scammers need to go away.

Thing is he may not even be in Italy, with western union once you make the deposit for the transfer he can pick it up at any western union office anywhere, and he could do it with a fake id with whatever name he tells you to use.

The scammers seem to work quickly, ebay takes them down, then they pop up again within a couple of hours. I hate to think how much money these guys have made robbing people.

Hope no one gets burned.

It's even happening enought that Western Union has caught on to it. For those that don't realize it's a scam and try to send the money, western union usually picks up on the situation and tries to convince the buyer not to send the money. Western Union is well aware of these jerks. I guarantee that is a made up address. We tried talking with one scammer and he used multiple emails and gave us 3 non working phone numbers, but he would call us! Someone should tie a rope around their wrists and the other end to the grab bar of the quad their selling....break in time!!!

I've seen this exact same scam several times but fotunately am wise enough not to fall for it. Not everyone is though. Thanks for the post, we need to keep others informed to protect them from the scum.

Just remember, if it sounds too good to be true.....it probably is!
