Do yourself a favor, ditch the chinese battery!
I see some threads here about bad batteries. I too suffered b/c of a bad battery.
I just got a Cool Sports 250 this weekend. Got it all assembled, and guess what? Yup, the battery won't hold a charge! I filled it with the electrolyte Friday night, put it on a 1.5 amp trickle charger for about 14 hours. IT died after about 7 cranks trying to start the motor on Saturday!
I had to go buy a new one, which after only 3 hours of charging (my buddies were riding, I couldn't wait any longer!) it lasted most of the day. My bike is breaking in, and needs to be tuned, so it was stalling alot, but still turned over the bike about 40 times before wearing out.
Lesson learned: replace the battery with a good one. My Local Pep Boys even gave me a $10 credit towards a new battery so the one I bought was only $25.

Amen....I'm yet to give these batteries a thumbs up. I told my buddy who has a DPX-200 to ditch his battery...he didn't listen, kept charging it and the rest is history. He always has troubles with a dying battery You will rarely see anyone give them the thumbs up! SEADAWG
