Default son's first quad

I am looking at buying a quad for my son. He is about 115lbs and 9 ear old.He is a big kid. He has some experience on a ttr-50, but no quad. I had him sit on a few and he looks like he needs at least a 150, but a 110 might do for a beginner and pass on to his sister. I am looking at ordering from Shinima web site. I have read several good posts about them in several of the forums. I am looking at the Redcat mpx110, redca 150 mpx or the Kazuma 150. I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with these quads and or from ordering from Shinima on line.
Thanks for any help with this dilima.
Thanks Mike

UMMM yah 2 words. Raceway atv! You can ask anyone here that Raceway is by far the best place to buy from. They sell Kazuma and some other brands but I would recommend the JetMoto brand from Raceway. Raceway goes above and beyond even after the sale. I have bought at least a dozen quads from them and have been very happy with them. There are alot of horror stories about other online dealers not having parts, taking money and running, poor service so just make life easy and order from Raceway. You wont regret it. My 9yo nephew rides a JetMoto150. He fits perfect and he is a big kid for his age.

Yup, Raceway. You will NOT have to worry, John will treat you right, tell you the truth (a biggie in this industry), and take care of you after the sale. As far as the quads themselves, I really dont think theres much of a quality difference between Redcat and Kazuma. The Jetmotos are nicer ATVs (from what I hear), but also more expensive. Imagine that.

Thanks for the input, I am trying to get some more info on the jetmoto 150. It does look like it is a better bike than the others. The price is pretty close to what the others are, an i am willing to pay a little extra for the service. Do you know how much assembly is reuired, and do they have a throotle govenor on them? My son does not have a lot of experience and i dont want him flying off th back.
Thanks again for the help. Great web sit I will be sure to pass it on

hndaf4, I purchased an 06 Jetmoto150 for my 9 yo son last spring from Raceway. It has been a great quad! Not sure about the 07's. Assembly is minimal for anyone who has the least bit of mechanical ability. Read a few posts on here for the do's and don'ts during assembly. Yes the do have a throttle limiting screw but I doubt that he will need to use it for long if at all. The Jetmoto 150 will be a good quad for your son's first. Have fun!
