Default My new Viva Motors 250 Quad

Hi all,

I'm new to forum. Can anyone let me know what to expect from the Viva water cooled 250cc quad. Hope I did enough homework before I Purchased it. Should arrive tomorrow. Based on comments I will likely decide on one for my wife and 2 kids. Is Viva stand up? Parts and service? It looks like a Roketa so I assume it's the same model. Thanks

Welcome to the forums.

Can't say that I've heard of that particular brand, so can't say good or bad about it.

Got any pics you can post of it?

It may be, as you suspect, a rebadge of another brand.

At any rate, I hope it serves you well, and enjoy the ride.

I have had my hands on 2 VIVA quads, they are both rebadged Roketa's. I have the Viva 300 Discovery which is a rebadged Roketa ATV-01. The Redcat DPX-250 is also the same quad. All three "names" used advertise differing engine sizes, for the Viva a 300cc, the Roketa a 260cc, and the Redcat 250cc. The engine is cloned from the engine used in the Honda Helix scooter for the last 20 some years, the CN250 which is a 244cc engine.
From what I've seen in the Roketa and the Viva 250cc engine as you are expecting it is actually a 238cc engine. Not sure what it is cloned from though, a Honda of some sort to be sure.

How were they? Did you get your money's worth? Were they the apropriate size for an adult male? Thanks for you insight.

This is the Viva I have been looking at!Sport 300
It looks just like the Roketa 250, I think the Roketa is better overall looking and I can buy them for the same price with in $50. or so. So is the etra $50. worth it the extra 50cc?

Hey Wes, could you give me the name of the company. I dont mind spending the extra money for more HP. Please post a link for me, maybe I can give the smaller quad to my wife and find one more suited for me.

I can offer what I've noticed on my Viva, it is very solid and comfortable. The 300 discovery is a full size frame and geared low for hill climbing and hauling being a utility. I haven't had to replace any bolts yet as none have vibrated loose. In fact from reading other entries in the forums here I counted myself lucky when it started at all. It hauls my fat a$$ around with no problems. As a positive note to you, more than 1 person has told me they prefer the smaller atv's when riding because they handle around tight areas better than the larger framed models, the 250 you ordered is a mid frame and you will have the advantage in tight handling areas so long as your ground clearance is good. My riding buddy traded his old 300 on a 500 Polaris, he wishes he had his 300 back, it would go places the 500 can only dream of.
Your gonna be happy with your new 250!
