Default Giovanni 150 cc reverse gearbox oil capacity

I am wondering if anyone knows the oil capacity of the reverse gearbox. When I drained it, it didn't appear that there was much oil in there. The oil was jet black, after only 2 hours of break-in so far.

you fill the reverse gear box with 75-90 gear lube until it's at the top of the site glass. also don't for get to change the cvt trans oil while you at it.

Thanks Bill. I didn't look for a sight glass. I will check it out . I changed all the oil, CVT, crankcase and reverse gearbox.

Bill, I can't see a sight glass on this one. Where would the top of the sight glass be in relation to the bottom of the gear box? ie. half or quarter way up? That way I can at least estimate the level I need. I'll take the breather cap off and stick a pencil or something in there to measure the level.

site glass would nornally about 3/4 up . it's a little lit now but next time when you drain fluid out and you don't have a measurement for refill, drain it in a clean container, then dump it in a measureing cup, i'll try to get back to you on the amount of gear to use in the gear box.
