Took the vib monster down to Baja for a week near San Felipe and gave it a good workout. The brake light not working issue was easily fixed by bending the light switch wire a bit. Bike was knocking at very low rpms but after a while it (or me) got better. Always started quickly and ran well. Funny when you leave the parking brake on how the back wheels bury themselves real fast in the sand.
First thing to vibrate loose was the gas tank! Easily tightened up. Wish I could get the plastics around the tank to stop making high rpm noise however. Bike did pretty good in the sand but was quite a bit overgeared. Did a bit of on road pavement riding and it did well. Would not want to go much faster than about 35 mph as it does feel a bit squirrely at speed. Fourth gear is kinda like an overdrive and spaced out further than the others.
Would really like to know if anyone has been able to get a different sprocket on one of these to change the gearing.
At this point we are going ahead and ordering another one but this one will be a red automatic.
1/10/08 Edit:
Once again the Hi Bird dealer had the nerve to ship the other one for free and we got it in three working days. Will put it together this weekend. A red automatic QH150-ST. As far as different sprockets, they did not have anything other than the stock ones. I will take a look this weekend and see if any other brand pattern will work.

Put the QH150ST together however it took a bit longer than the 200 (2.5 hrs). Very similar chassis wise but the engine is totally different. It is a two speed automatic with only forward and reverse. Forward feels like a CVT type as the speed goes up but the RPM's stay about the same. No pedals or controls by your feet...all on the handlebars except for the shifter for the transmission direction.
The 200 is noticable more powerful but the 150 is easier to drive. Wife loves the 150 as she had problems with the 200 shifting. 150 feels like it is geared lower which is great.
I like them both!
