I don't know about a site for HI Bird specifically. But Some of us got ours through Anamcycles.com. But if you go to the ebay atv pages and look up an auction for Komoto 150cc or 200cc machines, you will find them listed as Bestbuy in OK City. They have the best prices if you call them direct you save all the ebay fees and they will deliver to your door in like 3-4 days. if you call them talk to Lisa. She will give you the direct scoop. We are so satisfied with oyr 200cc I am going to order a 150cc for my wife. But gotta check out a problem with my truck first! Good Luck Here is a listing number for best buy on ebay- 300054449884
You can google or I use web ferrett. Anyway look up Hi Bird , or Chonqing Motorcycle Group. The Hi Birds are made by them. They are Yamaha Raptor clones.

Hey Whiskers,
I saw your pictures and I am now officially jealous. I have to haul my toys to ride them here in Wisconsin.
You probably have more time on this machine than anyone. Is it still running OK with some time and miles on it? By the way, Anam is telling me that they will replace the axle with the damaged threads. We'll see how that transaction goes.
Again, thanks for all your help.

herman,
I am lucky to have the small area I have to ride behind my shop. I have ridden the PEEEEEEE!!!!! out of this thing. It runs great, pulls strong. It has enough torque to pull the hills in the wash in second gear, or you can sit at the bottom and throttle up in first with no problem. So far it is holding together fine. Haven't lost a bolt off it. It slings mud everywhere! The tires have even stayed up! I have them set at 7psi and they have held since day one. They even held at 4psi, but that made the handling to squirrely. I think I'm going to order the 150cc automatic for my wife. We'll see how squirrely that act is !!
Let us know how the axle swap goes with ANAM. I'm sure rooting for them to be a good dealer. They sure came through as far as delivery goes.

It looks that way - isn't that dumb?
Here's what I did: There are essentially 2 drain plugs: one facing out to the left, and a larger one facing straight down in the middle of the case. The book shows using the one facing left, but I couldnt' figure out how to loosen it the the tools I have. (IIRC it looks as if a large socket & long extension would do the trick, but NO because the frame is in the way a little bit)
Anyway, I used the big bolt that points straight down. Yea, the skid plate is still in the way. I found a way to get the right sized (18mm?) open-end wrench on it to loosen it, then did most of the turning with my fingers. IIRC, I had to poke one finger from each hand in there and turn it in an akward kind of way.
Then, you hafta just let the oil drain onto the skid plate and drip off the backside & through the holes - it cant' be done neatly. That skid plate is gonna get pretty ugly on the top side if it doesnt' get cleaned after every oil change. I got lazy and just blew the dirty oil off with brake cleaner.
To help me see (so as not to bugger the drain bolt) I stood the machine up on it's tailbone to loosen the bolt, then back down on all fours to remove it & drain the case, then up on the tail again to replace the bolt. Maybe I won't feel like I need to stand it up next time.
One even quart seemed just right. Of course the stupid BOOK doesn't tell you how much to use! Right after filling with 1 quart the dipstick made it look WAY overfilled, but I took a real quick scoot around the yard to settle the oil into the tranny & wherever, then the dipstick reading looked good.

I'm going to whack a hole in mine with a plasma cutter.
Hey, I ordered a QH-150ST from Anam/ best-buy on Wed. morn. It was here before noon today. Got it all together and rode it this afternoon. I think the wife is going to like it. Got her to ride the trails out back and she did pretty good. I think the 150 auto is actually faster than my 200 ! It sure pulls me up the hills great. Spins donuts much better too !
