You are a smart man; knowing what's right for Your daughter.... My Daughter has out grown her 06 APEX 100cc PRO race bike...This little 2-stroke rocks......I'm looking for $2700.00, that's here nor there...... Do understand this, as your child grows, which is quickly. They will outgrow the smaller CC bikes pretty fast. I started with the Suz 80 (my youngest daughter being 10/9) that power level lasted one season. I quickly started putting money into the Suz to keep them in it a little longer. So, I widened it, took it to 107cc, piped it, put shocks on it (O.K. it was over $1000.00). That lasted 1/2 a season. Now little sun-shine wants more power.......By the way this is after selling the hopped Suz 80 to a friend for $2200.00, which is the cost of a stock bike. Just to get her the APEX (which smokes anything under 150cc) and have her out grow that in one year..... She's kicking my pocket book..... I've lost plenty of money during this process.. You don't have to do the same...... With kids, think at least 3-4 years in advance, then you control the amount of throttle they can apply........Isn't this fun ? All we want to do is protect our kids with-out going broke..Sounds pretty AMERICAN to me...Ride Safe

Then you move to a state that has the dumbest ATV laws I have ever seen. North Carolina states no child under the age of 8 can operate any ATV children ages 8-11 are restricted to maxim of 50cc -11-12 are restricted to a maximum of 70cc - and under 16 yrs old maximum of 90cc now my daughter is 9 and has out grown her 90cc already as it is physically to small for her and is more of a hazard than riding the right atv.

To me this is the same as saying that a child can only attend martial arts training or music lessons if the child is at least 8 then they can only play the key board once the child is 11 then you can let them play the drums ect.....

The people that make these laws don't think!!!! 1. They need to understand that children like adults are all at different riding levels my self for instance would have no issues puting my daughter on an atv up to 300cc like a Polaris Hawkeye. 2. I find it very intrusive for the state to tell me when my chilren can or can't ride atv's.

I am a full supporter of making every rider attend a safety course and that young children should not ride unaccompanied but don't tell me when or what my child is capable of riding

Anyway sorrry fo that outburst just venting but have been happy with the redcar

Default Which youth ATV?

I decided on and bought a SunL Atv-109, 90cc 4 wheeler for my daughter. I decided on it because the price was right and the guy practically delivered it assembled to my house.

One thing I need to change is I need to gear it lower. Any suggestions?
I have heard you can change the front sprocket. Do a need a smaller front sprocket or one with less teeth?
Where would I get this from?

Call John at Raceway 1-888-RACE-ATV. He'll either get you one or point you in the right direction.
