Hello all.
I purchased a 110cc chinese model atv. it runs alright but when it idles it sounds like it makes a puffing noise and it kicks forward a little bit but not enough to move it. and also when riding it full throttle it cuts out a bit then goes to normal again. any help would be great. thanks in advance.



i was also wondering if any of these atvs came with restrictors. i checked the exhaust and was nothing there. i dont know of any other places they could be.lemme know. thanks

 

If it's a continuous puffing noise it's just sucking air through the air filter as normal. And if it's idling high enough, it will lurch forward a little bit depending on how high the idle is. Go to the topic How to ajust the carb on any Chinese ATV thread that is listed in here under the kids quad's topics. Adjust you carb as in there.
