Default just bought 3 atvs, one won't start

i just recieved 3 250 water cooled chinese quads from viva motorsports, its' the weekend, i'd love to ride, can't call them for any help til monday, here are my problems:
first one is fully assembled, one bolt missing, already replaced with good bolt from hardware store
BUT it won't start. i checked spark, its' there, gas in the tank, gas runs out the float drain when i open it

second one is fully assembled besides 1 stripped rear lug bolt and threads in the hub- but it fired right up, had to shut it down and cut off a chunk of radiatior hose where it was too close to the exhaust and burned though

3rd also has the same hole and bolt stripped, haven't bothered putting it together any farther or trying to start it

the first had 8 extra locking nuts to "put on the back of the rear lug bolts?" that was my guess, only place they fit, the other 2 have 8 extra locknuts of the wrong size. the hub is threaded, do i need these nuts on there also? i think i want them there- peace of mind, and is it safe to drive around with only 3 bolts holding the rear wheel on until i get new hubs from the dealer?
Any help would be greatly appreciated- also tips on getting the first one going?

btw, i should add that out of the 3 atv's that arrived, there was ZERO literature. no manuals, instructions, zinch.

they were assembled with common sense and knowledge acquired from reading various boards. assembly of the first took about 2 hours, the second slightly quicker.
i'm not just a hack that attacked this project with the chinsy tools included, i'm a certified auto mechanic, and would have to imagine that i'm more than capable of piecing everything together- however, i'm stumped on the diagnosis of a small engine carburator.

On the one that will not start can you try some ether to get it to turn over. On these quads you have to go over every nut and bolt and use Locktite wherever you can get your hands on. If you dont they will fall apart on yur first ride. You may want to look at my carb tuning tips in theis forum. I to am a cert tech so there should not be anything you cant fix or repair on these. The one that has the stripped lug I would tap out with a hammer and at least put a bolt in for temp or take a hub off another one that you have not assembled yet. I would have suggested buying from Raceway atv because VIVA is not the greatest at all for service after the sale.

Try some starting fluid and let us know what happened.

i tried a bit of startign fluid, i had barely any to work with, and the carb openign doesn't have room to get a can near, i'm gonna pick up a full can and be sure to have a nozzle on it next trip to town.
as for loctite, i was intending on just the lugs, motormounts, shockmounts, anything else in particular?
and is it commonplace to put a locknut on the rear lug bolts even though the hubs are threaded?

on the stripped lugs the bolts came out, they were in said holes to attach the rear to the steel crateframe, and the 35 cents a day chinese slave couldn't put em in straight i guess. the bolts intended for the rim were used to hold it to the crate, and those bolts are keeshed, the others used for this werent' too pretty either from the threads beign against the angle iron of the crateframe

I'm not a mechanic or anything and have limited experience right now with quad tuning and repair. I just wanted to list my experience here with you. Maybe it will help you with your issue. My son got a chinese made 70 here recently for christmas and it would start for a second then die then would start again. After a long time of trying it would start again and run for an awhile. After consulting a few people I adjusted the float and now it starts with no issue at all.

I had the exact same problem. Disconnect the fuel filter from the fuel line at the OUTLET side of the filter and let fuel run for a few seconds. Reconnect and open the carb bowl drain and let that run for a few seconds then close it. Does it start now?

i trust these are three of the same quad? if so swap the parts to make one machine(you did buy one for parts, right). no i would not ride it with 25% of the lug nuts off. the answer to the fuel problem s not to shoot it full of ether. get a oil can and put some 2 cycle fuel into carb or cylinder(remove spark plug and check gap and fire to plug, then squirt a littel fuel into cylinder)
