we have two of those 70cc from the above poster, nice video, hope u dont break a leg, they sure were close, if they catch, there it snaps! maybe put them over the front fender, heck i dont know, but anyway, i'd recomment a 50cc they are smaller, this is for a 3 yr old guys, who ever is saying a 90 or 110! the 70 would be nice, but you do have to rev them up to get them going, you might go to fast if you give him too much throttle just to move, then after a straight he's gone! its late, im tired, many typos, but i do think a 50 would be best in his situation.

I don't plan on doing that again any time soon...lol I don't want to break his atv... I think the max load on it is like 132lbs, and at the time he weighed 40lbs, and I weighed 212lbs... My feet did skim the ground a bit, but I think we would of tipped over if I had them up on the fenders... maybe not?? I'm in the process of having a metal fab shop make me some wheel spacers for his atv.. The guy that own's the shop is a freind of my fathers, so it will just cost me the materials...

I wonder about the clutch thing, It should be easier to make the manual trans go slow, just plunk it in 1st gear and set the throttle screw so it does not over rev. (likely just low enough to engage the clutch)

There is a local fellow (to me) that sells the Giovanni and Kazuma.

www.theatvguy.com

His prices are just as good as any that I have seen for import into Canada from the US. I'll go look at them today and test drive.
He stocks parts to.
Think he would be a good option for those in Canada that want one of these atvs but are having trouble getting one shipped from the US

Beyond,

I would not worry if it is a 2 stroke. These little 50/90cc 2 strokes dont smoke much at all. You can even use a synthetic or low smoke oil. The motors are extremly reliable. If you are looking at a 50cc pred you can save a ton of cash and go with the Unison Desert Cat 50. Same bike just different name and smaller price tag. Look at RAceway atv and they carry Unison. Thje Unison quads are Taiwan made not Chinese so they are top quality. DOnt be afraid of the 2 strokes.

If you go with Chinese get the Meerkat 50. You can limit these very well. Just put it in first and take the shifter off till he is ready to shift. 3yo is kinda young but I also started my youngest on a meerkat at 3. The meerkat is the smallest of the mini quads. I think anything else will be too big or too much power. The meerkat has a foot brake so you dont have to worry about the big handbrake. Most 3yo hands are not big enough to squeeze the handbrakes on these mini's. Thats why the meerkat would be the best starter. It has electric start, lights, all the safety switches and very reliable. Check this one out and the Unison 50. The Unison is more money but this one he can easily grow into for the next few years. The meerkat he will outgrow it by the time he is 5.
