Raptor 50 slide
#21
Hey thanks for the info atvingnc, sorry took me so long to reply. Bahh another $150 to make it go 12-13mph faster. Thanks just not right, but I am sure a lot of people feel that way too. Dont really have any choice, my son needs to go faster then 11-12mph. Wish I would have bought a 80 instead. Thanks again.

My son has the 2006 raptor 50 and he is having the same issues. I have a two part question.
I see the parts list and I am going to order this stuff, but I wanted to be sure it will work for a 2006 raptor...I didn't see a year in the post, sorry.
Also, anyone have the shop manual for this vehicle? I should be able to do it without it, but it is best for getting all the parts back where they belong.
Thanks for the great information!

I just did the carb mods (slide, main jet, and throttle arm) this afternoon acording to the instructions above (thanks!) and now it bogs at 3/4 throttle at slower speeds...do I need to fiddle with the air screw?

so I made the mods a while back and now I am having problems keeping the quad running when it drops to an idle speed. I have messed with the only adjustable screw on the intake. Any ideas what to do next? I was thinking of changing the pilot jet hopefulling increase the amount of fuel at idle but is that just masking the real issue?
Thanks,
Brian
Thanks,
Brian
