110cc Yamoto runs but won't go
#1
My sons 110cc yamoto is a fully automatic with a shaft drive and this weekend it quit going.....meaning it runs prefect but when you hit the gas it does not move...I took the clutch cover off and everything looks normal but it is hard for me to tell since there isn't a shop manual available for it. I was wondering if anybody has had this issue and what they think the problem might be. Any help would be greatly appreciated because I really don't feel like tearing the whole thing apart and trying to "hunt" for the issue.

your 150 really doesn't have gears, your automatic consits of a clutch, a variator and a drive belt, so you eaither have the drive belt slipping or it's the clutch slipping, you need to remove the cvt cover, and see if the belt is loose, then start it up and watch the belt to make sure it moving up and down on the pullies,

I JUST HAD THE SAME PROBLEM WITH MY 200CC SHAFT DRIVEN MACHINE, IT WAS 1 IN THE MORNIN ON FATHERS DAY AND I WAS KEEPIN IT QUIT AND TAKING IT VERY EASY, NEXT THING YOU KNOW, NOTHIN. SO I GOT HER BACK TO MY GARAGE AT ABOUT 2, DIAGNOSED THE PROBLEM, AND FOUND THAT IT WAS A SPLINED COUPLER THAT BROKE, A SIMPLE AND CHEAP PART BUT IS VERY VERY VERY VERY HARD TO FIND, RACEWAY DOESNT EVEN STOCK SHAFT DRIVE PARTS. NOT EVEN MY BRAND DEALER(WILDFIRE) HAS THE PART.PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT BROKE ON YOUR MACHINE. I DID FIND ONE PLACE THAT HAD THE COUPLER I NEED IT NOW BUT IM BROKE(30 BUCKS) IF ANY ONE KNOWS WHERE TO GET THESE COUPLERS LET ME KNOW. THANKS, ZEEKS ZEEKS@ATT.NET
