Ok brand new. Ran well for about 3 hours, then statrted sputtering. Made it home. Drained gas, filled, checked spark, float, jets, ground, electrical, factory adjust is set, all lines and screws tight. Will start and run poorly for about 3-10 seconds, then dies out. The bypass electrical (choke) I don't know how to test. The valve from the tank has fuel valve on top and vacuum on bottom, again don't know how to test. Dealer is being very snotty about it.
Any help is appreciated........

I had ran into this same problem on my friends bike(banshee). he took the carb off and discovered trash in the carb internals. He used carb cleaner to clean it out and no problems since. If that is not the problem and it is getting fire then i would think the choke is stuck. On some electric choke carbs they will have a way to manually manipulate the choke. I hope this helps.

Hi,
Thanks much Mustang - but been there, done that. Any one know a suitable replacement that would bolt-plug in? This one is going to be target practice if I can find a replacement. It is a 24mm with vacuum on top and passenger side. Then the bypass electrical unit.
I will pay cash for a decent one that works.
Thanks

i went online and found a few places that carry carbs @ parts. i'm assuming you have a talon 150 2 seat go cart. i do not know exactly what your part # is so i had to guess, but i found a good site that carrys ALL of manco's spare parts. go to jacks small engines .com. It was a pretty good site i would probrobly be able to find your part if i knew the part #.I'm no smartass but im pretty good at finding stuff online.
