Pulling My hair out
We bought a 50cc ipc husky about 2 months ago it started out starting rough and then sputtering when running and then it was near impossible starting to now it will not start at all.... Just cranks and cranks
I have tried the following...
Checked all wiring (bypassed kill switch)
Removed carb and found a chunk out of the gasket so I replaced the gaskets
Removed the carb and cleaned very good with carb cleaner and compressed air
Removed exhaust to be sure nothing was blocking it
When i removed the exhaust i found starting fluid in it.... I can spray starting fluid in the spark plug hole and it drips "or nearly runs" out of the exhaust so i don't know where to go from here on this thing... or if this is normal which i suspect it is not...
Please help

Here are a few more things to check.
1) Do you have spark? Put in a fresh plug regardless of how the old one looks.
2) Bad gas? Drain all the old, including float bowl, and start over.
3) Gas cap vent plugged or kinked?
4) Fuel petcock? If the quad has one, make sure it is working properly. Check that you have gas flow to the carb.
5) Air filter? Make sure it is clean and freshly oiled(if it is the oiled kind.) Replace if necessary.
6) Bad ground? I know you said you checked the wiring, but if you don't get spark I would check and clean this one again.
These are usually the problems leading to the symptoms you described. Let us know if any of this pans out.

Very cool on the quick response....
I have a brand new spark plug and have 2 spare...
drained all the gas 2 times thinking it was a clog somewhere...
replaced the fuel cutoff petcock (came with a lot of spare parts) and a new fuel filter
air filter... wont even turn over without the air filter attached but i did replace it....
getting lots of spark and i replaced the sylinoid, voltage regulator, and coil
i have spent weeks trying everything i can read on the net and im at wits end on this thing... any other ideas? also is it normal to spray start fluid in the plug hole and get it out of the exhausts without turning it over?
