Hi,
Just got a new Baja 90cc atv and im wondering where i can find a winch that will fit it and a rack that will fit on the back. Any one know where i can get one of these that i can use with out welding anything just bolting on to the atv where it has room for accessories?

 

you don't need a winch for a 90cc, just bolt a big fishing reel on the front and reel er in[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

 

Ok very funny but if i dont need a winch you know where i can get a rack, and I would still like to find a winch.

 

sorry about the hardtime... keep an eye on ebay for a rack i have bought 2 off there for my sons eton.
search eton they make nice racks
OR...
if your 90 has reverse you could weld a loop on your rear axel and when you get stuck hook your strap to a tree and that loop , gas it in reverse and wrap that strap around your axel like a winch pulling you right out

 

good idea but my 90 doesnt have reverse, but ill check out what they have on ebay.

 

your electrical system on your baja will not support a wrench

 

I know but there is enugh room under the seat for a second battery

 

The plastics get very brittle on the baja's...My cousin's battery fell right through the bottom after 1 year....Adding another battery is asking for trouble unless you can build some type of metal box welded or bolted to the frame....Also when trail riding with the baja they tend to get stuck on any little bump..It partly due to the design of the rear skid plate for the sprocket and disc brake.If you covered it in with a piece of sheet metal it would help greatly so it could slid over obstacles instead of digging in and getting stuck.I really think its a waste of time trying to add a winch..You just aren't going to go over any rough ground with one of these things.

 

I seem to be doing fine, the only places i have got stuck so far is when i got into deep mud. Do you know of any rear racks?
