Default Roketa service

Well, I was starting to get worried. I had two real problems the first month of owning my 110 ATV 08L quad, both due to my misconception of the quality control, but easily avoidable if I had done some work up front.

First of all, the front rim came loose from the nuts wiggling off the nuts. I tightened these up first thing when I got it, but didn't lock tite. It rounded out the hole a tad, so I ordered a new rim, wheel bracket and attaching hardware direct from roketa. I went ahead and lock-tited every friggin bolt I could see, including the wobbled out rim (it wasn't too bad) and let the kids continue riding. Well, I missed a couple bolts of course, and the threads on a bolt ate a hole in the gas tank........damn.

About the time the gas tank got the hole, I got my package from Roketa. It was the wrong rim. They sent me a 6.5 inch rim and I need an 8 inch. Darnit...I sent it back after getting a return authorization (getting someone that knows what the heck they are talking about is tough, but stick with it and you will get someone). My hopes were sunk on ever getting the parts I needed or my money back after all the horror stories I read after buying the thing. I looked on ebay and low and behold someone actually had the gas tank I needed, or it sure looked like it. I ordered it and got it in a few days and IT FIT !!! Thanks EBAY and it was cheaper than the OEM site

Yah!!! the kids are actually up and running. Once again, I went and lock tited EVERY friggin bolt I could see, INCLUDING the gas tank and haven't had a problem....yet.

Today I actually got all the correct parts from my direct order from Roketa. I was thinking about selling the thing, but now that it appears I CAN actually get parts with a bit of persistance, I just may keep it.

Too all you new guys buying these things...be SURE to lock tite all the bolts before you ride it. All these posts about lock tite is no joke. If it can work lose, it will. The little 110's run good and it start's better than my Yamaha with the electric start, but they take some wrenching to make them worth it.

To any of you that have had one for a while....what bolts might I have missed that are harder to see that tend to wiggle off ?
