Please help. I have a 110cc for my son that just died while he was ridding earlier today. When you push the start button on the switch nothing happens. But when you use the remote it starts right up and runs fine. Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot?

 

Same thing with my nieces quad but she wanted the remote starter taken off so I did, now we can't get it started, no spark, no noises at all, cant jump it to start off the starter solenoid either. battery is fully charged and i have no idea what is wrong with hers

 

Just unplug it when not using the atv, then plug it back in while using it. The (safety loop) goes into the remote box and then back out. It's like the kill switch on back has to complete or break the circuit to run. We have two and both kill the battery unless we unplug it. Also harbor freight sell float chargers for like 5.99 that can be mounted by the battery and then while not in use plugged in.

one of your safety interrupts may have failed. Usually the brake handle is one and a tether on the back. Unplug one at a time and see if it starts. you may have to run a jumper wire across the plug. Some will work just by unplugging and some need a jumper wire.

 

3.5 3050 who wiring harness I have all for unplugged in the back and there are two in the front unplug but i try starting it smoking out of the coil do you think the starter is shorting out the coil that's why there's no spark please. Help. Thanks
