Tires for Yamaha Raptor 80?
Looking to widen/stabilize my daughter's Raptor 80. The only riding we do is out in the desert. I've thought about getting the Holeshot MXR6 like in this package deal here:

The front tires on this package is what's holding me back. I'm wondering if this package is more for racing. The narrow tires would be easier to turn I'm sure. But I still wonder if I should consider wider tires in the front.
I'm also going to add those spacers as seen here:

What do you think?

Tires for Yamaha Raptor 80?
If your looking for a tire/rim package that makes the Raptor an all around better handling machine then these are it. I bought the same package for my sons Raptor 80 and they are awesome. the tires/offset rims alone will add alot of stability. we ride some sand, mud, trails, etc .... much better tire than the OEM (front and back).
as far as spacers go the lug type are ok. I bought a set of 2" per side for my daughters Raptor 50 and they work good but are starting to rust on the threads. I got the full hub solid aluminum ones for my sons Raptor. I like these better because the rim/hub sit fully against the spacer (not just the lug area) and the bolts are some type of alloy that don't rust. however they are generally more expensive. I got mine from
http://www.weirdharoldscoolparts.com
for $35.00 per pair, good price, however be warned that it took me alot of phone calls and a couple of months to get them to send me the parts.
Have you added higher rev CDI and removed the air box restrictor. along with the tires/rims these changes will take the raptor from 30mph to 37mph and give better low end response.
