Default Questions on Baja 90cc Utility quad

Picked up a new 90cc Baja Wilderness Utility quad at auction for $500. The only thing wrong with it is some scratches on the racks...that is why it was at the auction. This model is bigger than a kids quad, I'm 6'3" and I fit comfortably on it. It pulls me up hills no problem, plenty of power for what I want to do. I unhooked the rev/speed limiter under the right rear fender, picked up alot of speed. My questions are...Will rolling around with this unhooked cause problems? The other question is about the exhaust. I have heard about restrictor plates being used on the smaller 90cc quads, are they on this one?

Thanks for all the info...

Default Questions on Baja 90cc Utility quad

Hi my name is Rob

I ordered some parts: headlights, skid plates, foot pegs from baja motorsports in AZ and the parts guy said I might get some more rpms by un-hooking it.

I have a baja 90 2005 model. I un-hooked the rev limiter and didn't notice any particular benefit. When i hooked it up again the 90 didnt idle anymore.

Last weekend it ran fine the air cleaner cleaner.

i dont see any problem with leaving the rev limiter off
but if u want to be safe you could put it back on and adjust it to where its more free
but taking it off shouldnt have any adverse affects
