i now have an 06 polaris that my six year old daughter has been riding now for two years, my 4 year old son has a eton 40 he got from sis and i bought him a brand new polaris 90 for christmas, problem is my friend has 2 polaris 90 and his boys really ride em and the brakes absolutely @@@@. . i am now thinking of selling his 90 that i didnt give him yet and get either a drr or apex 90 because of the disc brakes, but i dont know enough about them. can anyone help me??? the polaris my daughter has is great but she doesnt ride it hard so she doesnt notice the brakes, but if my son turns out anything like me oh boy we will have an issue with em..... please any help would be great thanks.

what kind of polaris 90 do you have? are you sure the brakes are adjusted properly? never heard anyone complain about brakes on the polaris 90 s drr and apex are good quads but so is the polaris.

Apex & DRR both nice. My question would be what type of riding. Are we talking about purely recreational trail riding or little more hard riding/racing. Both bikes are nice. DRR little cheaper, Apex little more but are little more race ready. DRR better geometry in front end, darn thing steers like a luxury car. Apex deffinitely better suspension out of the box. I've been into both motors, definitely prefer design, setup, & components of the Apex over the DRR.
I guess I'm a little bias since my son races an Apex, but I must say we have been beaten a couple times by DRR.
Both transmissions @#$%! I suggest you keep some tranny gears close by. I think I'll start my own business some day selling miniquad tranny gears. I'd prolly make a killing. (unless you run an LT80, those darn gears are indistructable)..
