Can i replace the crank seals without spliting the engine, or do i need to pull the crankshaft out of the housing? And if one of the seals are bad would that be the cause of the bike not starting due to bad seals?

They usually start but suck air and don't run right.
You've cleaned the carb and checked the reed (if it's a 2 stroke) and made sure there was spark. Right?

The seals usually push in from the outside. No spliting.

The carb was cleaned twice i have not checked the reed yet. If i push the seals in they will go into the case the harbors the rod, the seals do not come out,n they have to be pushed in? Also the bike started on starter fluid once but not again.

You pry them out with a pick, screwdrier, etc.
