One: did the hub where the rollers are get messed up too? Usually if the roller plate is that bad, the nub (variator) is bad too. Look at the roller ramps for uneven wear,gouges,etc.

 

not really. yes there are some groves but not deep or bad. the plate was almost worn through!!!

 

When you remove the injection system and start mixing the fuel you need to re-jet
go up at least one size on the main and you may need to adjust the clip position, mixture screw and float level slightly as well

 

Thay are jetted too fat from the factory, there is no fuel mixture screw, and no adjustment on the float.

couldnt this be caused by his clutch problem??????if the clutch is messed up wouldnt that cause his some of his problems???

 

carb is pluged. ordered new parts for the clutch from (lt80) today and got the parts today from dealer to get this lt80 going. remember Iv got two. so its off to the garage to put one back together. will let you know.

 

clutch must have been problem. I cant really tell becouse we are in the proceses of getting 2 to 4 " of snow so its very slippery out side but it seems to have alot of guts. tires spin burping the throttle. and sounds more powerful. will play in the morn after snow removel. and let you know. Its 1:00 am time for bed

 

if the clutch isnt working the way its suppose too it could cause those symptons atleast you took care of the other things should be good to go
