I installed a D&D performance exhaust on my girls Eton 70,it sounds super but the exhaust has killed all the bottom and mid rpm power but it seemed to pick it up on the top end speed wise which is no good and takes forever to get there.I tried adjusting the mixture but it made no difference.Any ideas?

I tried taking the filter out just for the heck of it and it dies at full throttle.I'm thinking it's leaning out? Maybe rejetting would help? The exhaust if for 50-90cc Etons,no paperwork come with it on rejetting.I can say it feels 5mph faster on the top end but it is super slow getting there.I may swap back the stock exhaust till I figure it out,she likes doing doughnuts and spinning which is impossible now.

You need to remove weight from the rollers (front clutch). There is too much roller weight causing the clutch to engage before the motor gets into the pipes powerband. Try removing 2 opposing rollers to expierement. I'm sure you will find a drastic improvement. If so, buy the roller weight kits (different weight rollers) and go for it. Yes a re-jet may be needed. let the plug color guide you (milk chocolate).

ok I remove 3 weights of the six and it made a huge difference, actually acts like Its geared lower.I think it has 6.5 gram weights from the factory, how much lighter should I go? I saw some kits on ebay that had different weights in pairs of 3, mine has 6 ??

The reason that 3 rollers seemed to change gearing is that now there is too little roller weight thus the variator is not pushing the belt up.
You need to run all six in your clutchs.
IMO you need to buy a roller kit that contains 6 each of different weights.
I'd start around 30 grams total and go from there.

ok, this might sound bad?? Mine weigh around 6.5 grams each,I carefully took one by one in my vice and drilled it "the center" to weigh 5 grams each and it is closer to where it needs to be but I think I still need to rejet,I can run it wide open and it may go 75 feet and think I'm maxed out speed wise but all of a sudden it comes to life and screams,I weigh 160 and my daughter is 50lbs,I would assume rider weight plays a role in roller weights? I have a set of boyeson reeds on the way,not sure if they will help or hurt the situation.I'm going to order some more weights to be safe

Still slow outa the hole but better. I'm thinking a touch lighter than the approx 30 grams you tried. 6~4.0 or 4.5 gram rollers maybe.
The 3 you original tried is 19.5 total and too little.
The goal is to get the holeshot as much as possible w/o lowering the top end speed.
