Default Polaris Outlaw MDX vs. Can Am DS X 90

I am trying to evaluate the two units and am having trouble getting information on the MDX. I am fairly familiar with the Can AM. Primary use is trail riding for an 8 year old (lots of hills and rutty trails). Any info from current owners of either model would be appreciated.

The Polaris Outlaw is truly the #1 youth atv for the "big 7" (Suzuki, Yamaha, Honda, Kawasaki, Can Am, KTM, and Polaris). The Can Am DS 90 is not worth the money and isn't in the same class as an Outlaw. I am telling you though you can find a DRX 90 for slightly more money ($400 roughly) and have a far superior quad.

I ended up with the ds 90 X. My original post was looking for the difference between the ds 90 x and outlaw MDX. There doesn't seem to much info out there on the MDX or the ds 90 x. The primary use is trail riding with a chance of xc racing, but no mx racing. I have better dealer support with the Can Am.

I also have heard that there are alot of aftermarket companies that are developing new products for the Ds90X as well. I haven't looked at the DS so I don't know what they are getting for them but I do have to say, first look at them looks good. Also, in our area the DS as far as MX would be allowed to be bored up to a 125 in the 90 production class for a 4 stroke handicap. I got to think a person can get some performance out of it then.

Can someone lead me in the right direction for DS90X performance upgrades; both what and where to find?

Thanks!
