fast isn't always the problm , although you can make the mini quads faster its not free and will cost time and money and you still end up with a small atv with inferior suspension ,minimal ground clearance and most of the time no reverse so why spend money chasing your tail if your kid is experianced enuff and rides in the trails like mine do with hills bump, mud sand and water all the stuff that kills kids quads and all i'm saying is that a small adult quad might fill the need even if they are only 10 ,
i say alot of factors play into your decision and your the best judge of them

I may understand some of that but the public won't.
Heaven forbid this would happen, but think about this::
Your local news: Mr. #### bought and allowed his 10 yr old son on a ATV that's made for 16 yr old and up riders. This illegal action led to a accident involving the 10 yr old.
The local police and child services are looking into this.

Like I said, I hope non of that will happen, but it has.
I have seen oh so many get a bigger machine for a kid that has just gotten big enough to controll the mini.
I'm not looking to argue. Rather another view to consider.
