Well I did make the trip to OK this weekend. I bought the 250 V4S. Tim put it together for $50.00. Money well spent. $1100.00 out the door. We spent a few hours breakin it in. So far everything is good except for the carb needs to be fine tuned and what sounds like move valve clatter after riding. I will post again after we spend more time with it.

 

i have the vbike 250, and its been pretty good to me. i have 2 other 4 wheelers that are of a much better quality. i bought the vbike to beat it up. and let friends use as a loaner. ive had problems from all of my atv's almost as soon as i got them. bit the yamaha, and the kawasaki dont matter. the vbike i hate the twist throttle. and they said they would send me another its been a year and i still havent seen it. stripped bolts in the handlebars from when i picked it up they assembled. i replaced all imporntant bolts with some made of stronger steel. they didnt even try to adjust the front end on it so handling sucked. i took care of that as soon as i rode it first time. it has acted like it didnt want to shift right a couple times but maybe that was the me cause it was just a few times. it stunk like crap burning off the coating that china puts on them before shipping them breaking in a jap bike smells much better breaking in lol, no big deal. but today my voltage regulator went out on it. i called them in edmond they said bring it up and get another. no charge and ive had it a year. i cant complain about that. and the turning radius sucks. i have upgraded several parts with honda parts. change out jetted the carb, exhaust i hated that stock v bike exhaust sound. and messed with the timing a little, it runs great. i cant complain. my 700 was overhheating the day i got it and had a short in lighting. that burnt some wires wich caused it to die and had to be towed back to the truck. my 450 has been good concidering what im putting it through. but i treat that poor little vbike like crap. and it will take everything i give it. i ran with a friend to see if it would really get the 60 that they say it will and i got 65 going by his speedometer. so thats pretty close. it did take it a little while to get there your not going to win any races with it, but you arent waisting money either your going to be having just as much fun as everyone else out there for about 5-6 thousand dollars less.
