Hey for all you guys out there struggling with your Raptor 80 carb issues that are just plain bizaro, I think I may have found another place for you to check. I have had my son's carb rebuilt 3 times in 2 months. Most recently I picked it up at teh dealers last Friday. Before I loaded it up, I told the boy to run it around the lot a couple times. Guess what.. It stalled, and would not idle again... Here is what we found on number 4. Believe it or not, we had an air leak between the carb and the manifold. It ran great until he banged it on a log he was crossing. This happend before too. Ran great until it was bumped hard, then stalled and refused to idle. Spooky stuff. A lightle tightening again and it was right back to running normal.
