Typhoon 125 (knockoff) for dunes?
Lightweight, I was thinking.....the 125 Jetmoto I have has been hopped up a bit. Is yours stock? mine has a mikuni carb (16mm I think) and a 2 stage foam filter. It also has a aftermarket exhaust system. The items are available at Jetmoto/Raceway. I could get you some good close up pics of the items on the Jetmoto 125 if you think you might want to try them. Pics could help you see if they might be adaptable to your Typhoon.

Typhoon 125 (knockoff) for dunes?
Hey Lightwieght, My son is 7 yrs old and wieghs about 50lbs. However, my buddy's kid is 12 and he rides the 125 typhoon. I would guess that he is in the 90 to 100 lb range. Yet they both still have no issues in the dunes. If you're looking for hop ups for the quad, keep in mind the engine is basically that of a Honda 50. So anything that would work for the pitbikes will more than likely work on the quad as well. Here are a few sites you can look at for aftermarket parts. hetrickracing.com, maximumrpm.com and extrememotorco.com. The last one will also be able to supply you with engine parts and replacement parts regardless if it's a true typhoon or not.
