Default Always something wrong... possible water damage?

200 cc redcat.. i was hosing it off and i think i sprayed in the exhaust.. ameture mistake... it wouldnt start so i used to start fluid to get it to turn over.. but now it slows down throughout idle and driving i cant get it to fully rev up .. did i mess it up pretty bad or can this be fixed?... anyone know what can be done? im just gana let it dry up a bit for awhile for now

You sure you just didn't get the plug (wire) wet? Unless you dumped a gallon down the exhaust, it should be ok.

yea didnt know what it could be so i just thought that might be it.. um yea i prolly did i was sprayin the whole thing down... just wait for it to dry and it will be good?

I shoot the hose down my exhaust to get it nice and clean, never had a problem like that. Id go with Scooter, and look at the plug. Thats what it sounds like to me.

i'd say more than likely you got the airfilter wet. you can't hurt it by squirting a little water in the exhaust.

Yea it works now i just let it dry off a bit.. just got nervous figured with my luck i messed it up thanks.

lol good deal. Glad you got it sorted. Are you using the stock air filter on your Redcat? Throw up some pics of it too, I heard they looked like the Raptor.

yea it does.. its blue too like it .. not sure if it has any other colors ... ill get some pics...

i put some in the bio i think it worked .. check it out its like the same pic didnt realize til now

takes a few minutes for approval once you add them. Give it a little time then theyll show up.
