is it bad to stand a quad up while moving it from place to place to ride? (in order to fit 2 quads in a 6ft bed)

 

No I see people haul atv's like that all the time, I would close the gas valve first! I like the XL250, I would love to have one of those today, I have been thinking of getting a Chinese 250 (Hibird). The red Cat looks good, looks like you found some mud! PS - I would also make sure that you have one of the newer "Sealed AGM" type batteries; or else you might end up with battery acid leaking everywhere.

 

ok thanks alot.. the xl250 was my fathers but he doesnt ride it anymore so i took over..its not running that well right now the carb was all gummed up from sitting but i fixed that and got it started but now when i give it alot of gas it bogs out and back fires n such.. someone said it might be running real rich? the redcat is pretty fun i picked it up for my girlfriend which i noticed alot of people to with that quad.... the fenders on it dont stop any mud compared to my kawasaki .
