Default Dingo 150 transmission noise

My Dingo has started making a loud clacking noise when I hit the gas in forward gear. Something is very wrong and it sounds like it's coming from the transmission, maybe the right side. I haven't read much about transmission problems on this ATV on this forum. Does anyone have any experience with this issue?

Does this use the reverse rear end?

Don't understand the question. It has reverse, but the noise is only in forward.

Im sorry....is the reverse mechanism in the rear end/rear axle? Or is the reverse part of the engine?

the dingo uses a reverse box that attaches the the output shaft of the cvt transmission.

you need to make sure where the noise is coming from, transmission, driveline (spocket & chain) reverse gear box, loose engine mounts

if the noise sounds as if it coming from inside the transmission then do the following
the 150's uses a cvt transmission, it contains a clutch, drivebelt and a variator, could be any one of these . take the left side cvt cover off, remove the variator and check the rollers for flat spots , this time since the variator apart it would be a good ideal to just replace the rollers, you might want even consider installing lighter weights at this time, replace drivebelt, and take a air gun and blow out the dust in the clutch.

Thanks for the advice. Last time I tried to take that left CVT cover off to check the belt several months ago, there was a metal peice sticking up near the inside end of the foot peg that kept the cover from coming off. Never did figure out how to get it off. I'll take another look.
