New to Forums: Help Please
#1
Hello all. Am new to the forum and hope I picked the right area for some help. I chose this one because this machine is supposed to be a Honda clone. I bought a new Boreem (Chinese) 400 4x4 April 1st from County Motor sports in Clovis, Ca. Off the internet. (what a mistake with this company). Out of the crate it has a problem with the electric shift. When I first start it up, most of the time the ES will work fine. After I have run it for a while the ES stops working and I have to use the manual pedal. I have checked the fuses. All OK. I tried a new left hand switch assembly. No help. Thanks in advance for your help and glad to be a member.

doco1,
Welcome to the forums.
I'm sorry to hear County Motorsports is giving you POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE others here in the forum have had issues with them too.
Run a search in the Honda forum for your issue before you post. I'm sure someone else has had the same problem with their Honda. If you can't find the answer then ask, the Honda guys will point you in the right direction. They may tease you since it's not a Honda but you will get help.
Have you tried BMS(a.k.a. Boreem)for assistance? They have always been very good whenever I have called for help or to order parts.
Good Luck
SB.

smb05,
Thanks for the post. This unit is two months old and problem was right out of the crate. I guess I should have checked the Better Business B first on County Motor Sports. I checked them later and wow. Many of these same service problems. No replies to emails or voice mail for weeks and then when they do respond they say I am abusing the support system. and don't bug them any more.
I should have known two things about them: you get what you pay for and if it sounds to good to be true....
I have posted this over at the Honda forum and have read some of the results of the "electric shift" search. They will give me a starting point. What the heck, I can't mess it up any more than it already is. I just hope other people read this and think hard before buying from these people.
