Default Eton viper 90r oil leak

I have an 06 eton viper 90r 4 stroke that has an oil leak on the right side of the engine. I pulled the plastic cover off over the fan cage and it's leaking from behind that. I looked on-line and found a seal that sits in the right side cover. Anyone ever had a problem like this or replaced the seal?

Default Eton viper 90r oil leak

My son rides a 05 Eton 90r and I have had no leaks or problems with the machine other than not having the correct gap setting on the stator and the carb mixture was too rich. What do you think might have caused the leak? I think that in the owners manual called for 3.4 oz of 80/90 weight. By chance did you ever replace the fluids and possible overfilled it? Sorry to hear your having problems. Have you had any luck in finding a service manual for your machine?
