DID X-Ring 428 Chain?
My son's chinese quad has a habit of stretching chains much faster than mine or my gf's. I would like to install DID's X-ring chain to give us extra tensile strength, and chain longevity. According to DID's website, they do make a 428 X-ring chain, part number DID428VM, but I can't find one ANYWHERE (not even ebay). I have looked over the net to find site to buy one, but coming up empty handed. I can find DID 428 roller chains, but I would much rather have the x-ring.
Does anyone have a link(no pun intended) to where I might find one?

You ARE right 'oblytr8' - NOBODY has for sale the '428VM'. MANY places have the 428V (the 'M' stands for the 'X' Ring) - The 'VM' seems to only be available in the '520', '525', and '530' sizes. I did note that the 'VM' seems to be priced at about a 50% premium over the 'V' chain. (Personally, I question if it is worth a 50% premium - especially in an ATV environment with all the dirt & mud; the 'X' O-ring is suppose to 'twist & turn' to reduce friction - what happens when the 'X' Ring gets packed with dirt & mud ??? - is it STILL going to 'twist & turn' ?? )
I've had DID Victor 428V 'O-Ring' chains on 2 quads for about a year now and neither as required a chain 'adjustment'.
Link for 428V chain
