I use premium in all of my 4 strokes and even in my lawn mower.
2 strokes get a mix of premium and 100 octane race gas. I mix 1.5 gals of race gas with 3.5 gals of premium. Only to control pinging.. no horsepower gain.

I had no issuse using low grade fuel at all.I did sell the vbike this spring and bought a duel sport 250cc hibird and I run 87 octain in it as well.I will call Tim today and ask him why he suggested that.

Im sure it will be fine kczukiman unless you hear pinging. Im kinda **** about my dirt bike/atv fuel and not only use only 92 octane. Ive also been buying it from the same 76 station for almost 20 years. The owner only buys his gas from 76, never buys what he refers to as "rack gasoline".

I have ran both premium and 87 octane in both of my MICs from Vbike and they seem to run great on both. Tim also told me to use the lower octane , he told me they run better on it but I havn't had any issues with premium.

I spoke with Tim,He said that on the chines 250's that any gas is fine. But he said that if someone has a 150cc that has a chinese carb, that its hard for the carb to handle the higher octain.

Hello! can someone please tell me how much oil I need to buy so I can change it tomorrow? I'm pretty sure what I just bought is the TAOTAO ATA250 D. Also, I'm going to need to get another carb. later on anyone know what, and where I could order it? Thanks Verry much!

That might be the silliest thing I have ever heard.

If it has a oil cooler its about 40 ozs.. if not its about 30 ozs. I use Valvoline 10w-40 in all my small 4 strokes.
