Red hot rectifier
#1
I'm building a little contraption for my bicycle and am having wiring problems. I've done everything per instructions from Hooper imports 5 wire system . The issue I'm having is that when I hook up the red wire from the rectifier to the battery terminal it starts to smolder and get very hot! I assure you that everything is properly grounded and there don't seem to be any shorts to make this resistence occur. Any ideas? I can only think of one thing, I'm using my motorcycle battery from my gsxr1000. Could it be that there are too many CCAs?
And in addition either my starter switch is bad or the starter relay...
I've been troubleshooting this all weekend!! Please help
