I PURCHASED A BAJA 50 APRROX. 9 MONTHS AGO.
MY 6 YR OLD LOVES IT, RODE SOME IN THE WINTER, SHREADED MY LAWN THIS SPRING.
THE BATTERY DIED ABOUT A MONTH AGO. I PURCHASED A NEW ONE
AND HE RODE FOR 2 DAYS STRAIGHT. IT SAT FOR A DAY, AND THEN
WHEN WE WENT TO USE IT AGAIN THE BATTERY WAS DEAD.
HE DID NOT USE THE HEADLIGHTS AT ALL AND I DOUBLE CHECKED TO MAKE SURE
THAT ALL SWITCHES WERE OFF WHEN HE WAS DONE EACH TIME.

CAN ANYBODY TELL ME WERE TO START OR WHAT THE PROBLEM
MIGHT BE. I AM SOMEWHAT MECHANICALLY INCLINED BUT A LITTLE SLOW
ON THE ELECTRICAL STUFF.

the alarm system drains the battery a little while sitting, best thing is to buy a delran battery tender and while the quad isn't being used keep it plugged in, you're never have another dead battery guaranteed

don,t believe that i have an alarm on this little 50cc baja. still, it would not drain the battery sitting for one day. the battery was only
1 week old. do these atv's have a small alternator to charge the battery when running?
it almost sounds like a grounding problem.
anybody have any more thoughts about this problem?
i would appreciate any help i could get.
