How do you test a stator to see if it is any good ?
I am not getting any spark on our 70cc redcat.
It has the stator that has 6 coils in a rotary pattern
Please check my other posting for a greater detail of what I am dealing with.

So many views, not one reply .I guess maybe I am the only one that has ever had possibly a stator problem but I highly doubt it.

One of the hexade generator coils, the bottom one in the pic, is the exciter coil that supplies a power to CDI through Red/Black wire. The green wire is the Com./GND. Maybe checking the conduction those wires is one of the methods in order to check the stator function for ignition system.

Since you stated like that once it may had got some humidity in the rain, it should be dried up before measuring the ohms.
