Default Changing oil in Suzuki LT-A50 need help?

Bought a used LT-A50 (2 stroke) for my boys and changing the oil today, I drained the oil fine, but for the life of me can not figure out where to put the oil back in? Feeling kind of duh here and kids are waiting on me.....

Thanks for any help here.

Default Changing oil in Suzuki LTZ50 need help?

OK - just got to thinking.....

It is a 2 stroke so does it really take oil? I drained oil from something at the bottom of the motor, (not sure what now). It was a small plug and oil came out so.....

kcolg the manual i have shows the fill plug just above and to the left of the drain plug , it has a straight edge like a flat screwdriver head , the manual calls for a good quality mulitigrade SAE 20w40 oil ; the dry capacity is 550 mL ( 0.58 qt. but refilling the transmission requires only 50 mL ( 0.053 qt. ) of oil as approximately 50 mL ( 0.053 qt. ) will be retained by the case castings .

If you have trouble finding 20w40 , 20w50 would work maybe even better ; hope this helps and welcome to the forums !......

Thanks.

So does it require a gear oil then or a motor oil or ATV oil? I ask becuase I figured it would be gear oil since it is a 2-stroke and not a 4-stroke motor. For gear oil it is more like 80/90 wieght.

The manual just calls for a good mulitigrade oil , it doesn't call for a hypoid gear oil like a differencial uses ; and the final chain drive should be lubricated with a suitable chain lube or motor oil after each ride.

Once a month the chain should be removed and washed in a suitable solvent (kerosine would be my choise) them soaked in oil , then install and adjust drive chain ; servicing the chain would depend on riding conditions.
