Default Eton Viper 90 - Cylinder full of oil

I'm leaving for the desert in the early AM, and I just tried to start our viper 90 after sitting all summer. The fuel was drained, but now I found the cylinder is full of 2-stroke oil...

I cranked it over for a while, but it still won't crank if I put the plug back in. I need to have this running tonight!

Help!

check for plug on bottom of motor to drain. most have for hydro locking to drain gas when transported and needle sticks open.

I'd prolly fill the crankcase with fuel to clean it out. It'll take some effort for sure to spin the motor and get it all out.
It won't kick over (not the starter)?
I allways recommend a carb cleaning.
Is the pipe plugged?

Took some time, but I got it... Ended up standing it on it's nose for a while, then on it's tail to drain the exhaust. Poured some gasoline in the cylinder and let it set for a bit and then cranked it over (with a rag over the plug hole) Eventually, I got at least 1/4 cup of 2stroke oil out of it.

It finally started. Thanks for the help... Note to self: either store it on it's tail, or drain the oil for storage.... :-)

Yeah, that was some tough chit.... and it happened to me. At least I got it running, and the kids ran the Cr*p out of it over the weekend.

Looking at it, it was clean 2-stroke oil. The reservior was nearly full when we shut down in spring, and it was almost empty on Friday, so....

I learned my lesson, I'll either store this on it's tail, or drain the oil/fuel. I normally just put sta-bil in the fuel and park it...

I survived, we had fun...

Maybe the el-cheapo on/off from the local auto store that we use on the fuel lines to shut the oil off.
BTW, what dunes?
