Hi-Bird 250 brake bleeding?
#1
I toook the whole brake system off and managed to get the fluid to travel to the caliper. I am guessing there is alot of air in the system and it won't build up enough pressure to force the pistons out to the pads.
Anyone know of a way to bleed that system?

Are you asking how to bleed a brake system in general, or are you saying you've used the traditional methods and they don't work?

Well, I tried to bleed it like you would do on an auto, open bleed nut pump until it squirts out then hold brake pedal and re-tighten. But thats all i know to do and its not working for me.

You aren't alone. Please see this post from a few days ago:
Another Bleeding Brake Problem
I've now seen a third method posted to solve stubborn brake bleeding problems: Use a MightyVac vacuum system to suck the fluid out the caliper. All the necessary stuff comes with the MightyVac kit. I seen these at Harbor Freight for around $30.
If it were me I'd try the oil can method first. The oil pump cans at Harbor Freight are only around a dollar.
