Hello, I recently bought this ATV for 200$. The person i bought it from didnt know what brand or model it was, he was told when he bought it, it was a 2006 250cc ATV made in China, with reverse and the guy he bough it from payed around 1600$ new. I dont know how many gears it has, but i'm guessing 4 gears. The problem with the ATV is the first gear is grinding and not moving when i put it in gear also making the reverse out as well. It does fire right up and when i put it in 2ed gear it does move pretty well.

It looks like a taotao ATA-250-b/c but I am not fully shure and it sounds like you have to rebuld the trans

 

Ty for the reply dogman, im looking the names up, cant find nothing. Also its a rear shaft driven instead of a chain driven axle if thats help any.

 

I am looking a round town for a locale shop that mite know and I am looking for a part too so gess what we are in the same boat. when I find a shop near me and Ill ask them if they know what it is...
