Hybird 150 throttle cable
#1
My son has a hybird 150 that we pruchased from Anam(?) cycle in Oklahoma. It never would idle and any time he would take his thumb off the throttle, it shuts off. I took it to a repair shop and they said it needs a throttle cable. The one that on it is at the end of it's adjsutment which make it throttle kill. Any idea where I can get a cable for it? I can't seem to find Anam?

I found them after much searching by going to E-bay. They are real good at selling them, but if you have any problems...they don't answer the phone. I never was able to reach them after I bought it except once and then none of the people I needed were in, but they would call back. NOT! Now I need a cable. I tried to leave a message...I think I know what the outcome will be.

The dealer you took it to, are they a major manufacturer brand, or off brand imports?
Seems like you could make another cable work on it. Just make sure if it's not exact, it's longer than the original.

The length of the cable should not be a problem, as long as its the same length or longer & has the same connections at each end of the cable & the same pull length of the cable it should work.
