Hey guys, its a 200 Chinese made bike..engine is barely even broken in, but there stupid design.. from the research i've found so far the bike runs off of the battery but the bike does not put out enough power to the battery to keep it charged and charging while it runs. The battery is brand new, but basicly the bike runs mintt until the battery dies and then the bike will stall and won't run until the battery is boosted and then it will run again for 5-10 minutes.

Is there any solutions to this? Anything that can be put it to help charge the battery or make the bike continuesly run? Any tips or ideas would be greatful.

What brand bike is this? What engine is in it?

This is not a design problem, it is a broken bike problem.

Since it is new, can you get help from the dealer where you bought it or are you on your own?

What is the voltage on the battery terminals when the quad is running (headlights. etc turned off)?

 

The atv has a charging system and should keep the battery fully charged.GO back to the dealer.the chinese batterys dont hold a charge more than a couple of days,so when the charging problem is fixed buy a good battery like yaesu or sears.
