If 1 turn out is no different from 2.5 to 3 turns out. The carb may have something plugging a jet. It needs to be cleaned.

Another possibility is they are still using the piece of cardboard with the 3 small holes in the air filter box. My 125 had the air filter in the front nose of the quad. If yours is the same you might want to check that.

Sounds like the symptoms one would associate with a weak spark.

Try pulling the spark plug- first inspect it to see what the business end looks like, the ground it and crank the motor, and see if you have a nice, fat blue spark.

I'd also try pulling the fuel line off the carb and see if it has a good flow.

I know, I know...this sounds rudimentary.....but ya do have to always check the simple things first.....

Are you still using the stock spark plug? NGK C7HSA is the replacement. Weird how it runs good for a while and then goes bad. Maybe the coil heats up and starts to fail? Confusing for sure...let me think about it some more....

How about the spark plug? Stock? If so start there..It might be a bad coil..they are known for working until hot..cool off and fine for a while.
