Default help replacing chinese 110 starter

I fryed the starter trying to jump start the atv with a car charger. Ive removed the bolts holding the starter to the motor. My question is, how do I remove the starter from the timing chain? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Default help replacing chinese 110 starter

Well you have to pull off the left side cover. Your right there is a spoket and chain on the end starter. This chain is not a timing chain its just used for starting. Once you pull the cover off there its pretty easy and straight forward.

Are you sure it's your starter?
