I have a 250 hibird chinese make was wondering if anyone knows what kind of transmission fluid to put in because its low. Have the manual but it doesnt even mention the transmission just says its chain drive. Any help would be appreciated.

 

Is your 250 a full manual trans. meaning you have a clutch and foot shifter (4 forward one reverse)? Or is it an Automatic with no hand clutch.

If it's a Full Manual there is no Trans oil, the motor oil is what lubes the gears and clutch. I run 15w40 in my Jetmoto 250!

If it's an Automatic I believe a 70/90 gear oil is what you would run, that's what I put in my Jetmoto 150's!
